Christian Eckmann is a chef associated with Asador Bastian, the Basque-inspired steakhouse in Chicago’s River North neighborhood, which opened in the historic 1883 Flair House. He has been described in coverage of the restaurant as the chef/partner who helps lead the kitchen alongside Doug Psaltis and Hsing Chen, and reports note prior experience at Arzak in San Sebastián and Ambria in Chicago.
