Christian Jürgens

Christian Jürgens is a German chef born in Unna, Germany, who has led the gourmet restaurant Überfahrt at Seehotel Überfahrt in Rottach-Egern on Lake Tegernsee since 2008. His career includes earlier head-chef posts at Am Marstall in Munich, where he earned his first Michelin star, and at Kastell in Hotel Burg Wernberg, where he earned a second Michelin star. He later earned a third Michelin star for Restaurant Überfahrt, becoming one of Germany’s best-known fine-dining chefs.
