Christian von Rechenberg is the General Manager of Baur au Lac in Zürich, a role he took on in July 2022 after previously serving as the hotel’s Deputy Director/Vizedirektor from August 2018. He first entered the property as a trainee in 2002 and later worked in food and beverage at Baur au Lac before taking management roles in London and returning to Zürich. He was raised in Zürich and has been profiled as the hotel’s long-time insider who progressed from intern to hotel director.
