Christian Wylie is the General Manager of Bodega Garzón in Maldonado, Uruguay, where he oversees production, winemaking, viticulture, marketing, sales, hospitality, and tourism. Bodega Garzón’s official site says he joined the winery in 2016 and notes prior senior leadership roles at Carolina Wine Brands in Chile and Establecimiento Juanicó in Uruguay, along with academic training in agricultural engineering, enology, UC Davis study, and an ESE Business School senior management program. He was nominated for Wine Enthusiast’s 2023 Wine Executive of the Year and was profiled by Wine Enthusiast as a leader who helped grow the winery’s worldwide sales substantially under his direction.
