Christopher Hastings is the chef and co-owner of Hot and Hot Fish Club and OvenBird in Birmingham, Alabama. He is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina, and a graduate of Johnson & Wales Culinary School in Providence, Rhode Island. Hot and Hot Fish Club opened in 1995 and is a modern Southern/French restaurant, while OvenBird opened in 2015 as a live-fire, casual concept in Birmingham’s Market District at Pepper Place.
