i. Biography
Çiğdem Seferoğlu is a Turkish chef, restaurateur, and culinary educator who is the founder and executive chef of Hodan in Istanbul's Beyoğlu district and Hodan Yalıkavak in Bodrum. After transitioning from business administration to graduate with high honors in culinary arts from Istanbul Okan University in 2014, she established Hodan in 2021. Her restrained, ingredient-focused interpretations of regional Turkish cuisine have earned Hodan recognition in the Michelin Guide and one toque from Gault&Millau Türkiye.
