Colby Frey

Colby Frey is a Northern Nevada farmer, winery owner, and distiller based on the Frey family ranch in Fallon, Nevada. He and his wife, Ashley Frey, own and operate Churchill Vineyards, Nevada’s only estate winery, and Frey Ranch, where he oversees grain-to-glass whiskey production from farming through distilling and bottling. He began with the family winery in the early 2000s and later secured an experimental license to make and age whiskey in 2006, with the first Frey Ranch whiskey released in 2019.
