Dan Buckle

Dan Buckle is the Winemaking Director at Chandon Australia in the Yarra Valley, where he has worked since 2012 and oversees the house style for the winery’s méthode traditionnelle sparkling wines. Earlier in his career, he served as Chief Winemaker at Mount Langi Ghiran in Victoria’s Grampians region from 2003 to 2012, and before that worked at Yering Station in the Yarra Valley after beginning his wine career at Coldstream Hills. He studied winemaking at Charles Sturt University, was dux of his graduating class, and received a scholarship for the 1997 Bordeaux vintage.
