i. Biography
Dante Mondavi is a fourth-generation winegrower and co-founder of RAEN, the Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir project he launched in 2013 with his brother Carlo Mondavi. RAEN’s official story says he and Carlo continue the founding ethos of farming prized coastal sites with respect for nature to produce limited wines expressive of site. He is also part of the Mondavi family’s Continuum Estate lineage. He and Carlo worked with their father Tim Mondavi before founding RAEN.
