Darrell Holbrook

Darrell Holbrook is a Sonoma County–born winemaker best known for leading winemaking at Chalk Hill Estate Vineyards & Winery in Healdsburg, California. He began in the Sonoma wine industry as a teenager and worked his way up at Chalk Hill from cellar intern to enologist, production manager, assistant winemaker, and ultimately winemaker in 2019. Holbrook has also been described as having spent more than 25 years, and nearly 30 years, at Chalk Hill, with a winemaking approach focused on preserving the estate’s terroir and natural characteristics.
