David Žefran

David Žefran is the chef at Milka, the boutique hotel restaurant in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia, set by Lake Jasna in the Julian Alps. He is a self-taught Slovenian chef whose path to cooking came after work in other fields, and who most recently worked in a three-Michelin-star restaurant in Stockholm before returning home during the pandemic., Milka was a two-Michelin-star restaurant, with Žefran leading its alpine, season-driven cuisine.
