Deepak Mallya

Deepak Mallya is the Head Chef at The Ritz London, appointed effective 1 September 2025 after more than 13 years in the hotel’s kitchen brigade. He began at The Ritz as an apprentice in January 2012 at age 18 and rose through the ranks to Executive Sous Chef before becoming second in command to Executive Chef John Williams MBE. His role spans the two Michelin-starred Ritz Restaurant, Afternoon Tea, the hotel bar and garden, in-room dining, private dining, and banqueting.
