i. Biography
Didier Charton-Vachet is a Burgundy winemaker associated with Domaine Charton-Vachet in Saint-Vallerin/Montagny, in the Côte Chalonnaise, where he and Florence Charton have run the estate full-time since 2010. He is the daily production lead. The estate began bottling its own wine in 2013 after taking over the family vineyards from Jean Vachet. The domaine’s wines are centered on Montagny Chardonnay, and the estate has been certified organic since the 2019 harvest.
