Training at Maria Ausgusta University, ABS Associação Brasileira de Sommeliers, and Wine & Spirit Education Trust (2014) gave Diego Arrebola the formal structure behind a career built on precision and taste. The roles that followed — Head Sommelier at Olivetto Restaurant and Enoteca (2008–2011), founder and Consulting Sommelier at Profissão Sommelier Consulting (2011–2018), and Nationwide Wine Director at Pobre Juan (2013–2015) — show the range of the trade: floor work, consulting, and national oversight all inside one résumé. Later, Diego Arrebola served as Chief Wine Officer at Berkmann Brasil (2022–2023). Alongside that, he has continued to hold Owner and Sommelier at EntreCopos (since 2018), partner at DistillRuptive (since 2020), and Executive Sommelier at Grupo Íz (since 2024), a set of roles that puts buying, advising, and service on the same table.

Where They Are Now

Since 2018, he has been Owner and Sommelier at EntreCopos. The classroom remains part of his work too: "I see wine education as the best way to change that, to show consumers better wines and, even more, take them to better understand the wines they’re drinking and so make better choices."
