Career Dom Maxwell trained at Lincoln University before moving to Greystone Wines in Omihi Hills, Waipara Valley, North Canterbury, New Zealand, where he worked as a vineyard hand from 2004–2008. Since 2008, he has been head winemaker at Greystone Wines, building his knowledge from vineyard work into cellar leadership. At Greystone Wines in Waipara, New Zealand, the winemaking is led by the same standard Maxwell states plainly: describe what is in the glass, but do not mislead.
