Don Livermore

Dr. Don Livermore is the Master Blender at Hiram Walker & Sons Limited in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, where he has been responsible for Canadian whisky brands including J.P. Wiser’s, Lot 40, Pike Creek, and Gooderham & Worts. He joined Hiram Walker in 1996 after earning a microbiology degree from the University of Waterloo, later completing an MSc and PhD in Brewing and Distilling at Heriot-Watt University, where his doctoral work focused on how wood interacts with whisky. He is also known for creating the Canadian Whisky Flavour Wheel and for authoring two Canadian whisky books.
