Édouard Normandin

Édouard Normandin is the fifth-generation cellar master at Cognac Normandin-Mercier in Dompierre-sur-Mer, near La Rochelle, where he oversees ageing, blending, labeling, bottling, and distribution of the house’s cognacs and pineau des charentes. Contemporary sources also describe him as helping run the family estate with Audrey Normandin and continuing the house tradition begun in 1872. Earlier reporting says he had a commerce-school and engineering background before taking the reins of the family business.
