i. Biography
Dr. Emma Walker is the Master Blender for Johnnie Walker at Diageo, becoming the first woman to hold the role in the brand’s 200-year history. She joined Diageo in 2008 and has worked on Johnnie Walker projects including Blue Label Ghost and Rare and Jane Walker before taking over the master blender position at the start of 2022. She is based at Diageo’s Whisky Lab/Brand Technical Centre in Menstrie and has also been associated with the Johnnie Walker Experience on Princes Street in Edinburgh.
