The Path

Ed Baines began as an apprentice chef at The Dorchester, then moved through chef roles at Bibendum, chef at The River Café in London, and Head Chef at Daphne's in South Kensington, before stepping into television as the first tv series presenter at Lunch with Ed Baines. His on-screen profile continued as co-presenter at Sunday Feast in ITV (2006), guest at Pointless Celebrities in BBC (2006), judge at Britain's Best Dish, and alternate chef at Sunday Feast with Paul Merrett. Today, Ed is co-owner of Randall & Aubin.

The Work Today

At Randall & Aubin in London, Baines is chef and co-owner. The current work is rooted in an unusually clear promise: breadth without vagueness, quality without ceremony.
