i. Biography
Eleazar Brena appears to be a Mexican agronomist and professor based in Oaxaca, where he has taught at Universidad de la Sierra Sur since 2000. He is also associated with mezcal production in San Luis Amatlán and is a maestro mezcalero and as the son of Don Marcos Brena, a fifth-generation mezcal producer.
