Emeril Lagasse is a chef, restaurateur, and television personality based in New Orleans who opened his flagship restaurant, Emeril’s, in the Warehouse District in 1990. He is identified on the official Emeril’s team page as “Owner, Chef,” and official company pages describe him as chef/proprietor of multiple restaurants in New Orleans, Las Vegas, Miramar Beach, and on Carnival cruise ships. He previously served as executive chef at Commander’s Palace in New Orleans before launching his own restaurant group.
