Fabian Zähringer

The Climb

The foundation was built across two business schools: Universität St.Gallen and Stockholm School of Economics. That academic base was then matched by roles in service, internships, project work, and finance, each one adding a different kind of operating discipline to Fabian Zähringer’s background. Before entering the wine trade, he worked as zivi at Tabulam & Templer Home for the Aged (1999–2000), praktkant at PriceCrash AG (2001), praktikant at Talent Networks GmbH (2001), projektmanagement at BMW Stiftung Herbert Quandt (2004–2005), and Assistant Vice President at Credit Suisse AG (2007–2010). Read together, those posts show a career assembled in sequence rather than by leap: early service, short-form learning, project responsibility, and then senior finance. Since 2010, that broader experience has been applied inside the Zähringer businesses. He has held geschäftsführung at Weingut Zähringer GmbH (since 2010) and geschäftsführung at Weinhaus Zähringer (since 2010), roles that place him in direct contact with both the estate and the wider winehouse operation in Heitersheim.

Today

Since 2010, he has been Managing Director of Weingut Zähringer GmbH in Heitersheim, Germany, and Manager of Weingut Zähringer in Heitersheim, Baden, Germany. Fabian Zähringer’s position there is administrative and inherited at once: it keeps the business moving while preserving the line that defines it.

Signature

Fabian Zähringer’s signature dish is Zähringer Gewürztraminer, a name that points directly to the estate and to the wine style associated with it.
