The Path

Working in the wine business in Uruguay from 2003 gave Fabiana Bracco the early foundation for the role she would later hold. Those first years were less about finish than formation: building practical judgment in an industry that asks for technical understanding and for the ability to read wine as an expression of place and purpose. Being first in a family line is a structural change, not a decorative one. In wine, that means establishing a practice that advances season by season and vintage by vintage.

The Work Today

As Director, Fabiana Bracco leads the winery from a clear position on what wine should carry from the land. “Wine has been so long on this earth because it is so different to everything else we drink. It is based on nature.” The statement is plain, and the method behind it is plain as well: keep the bottle close to the ground that produced it. Her own words frame the work as a matter of consistency and self-recognition: “We are very committed to what we do and we always want to make a wine that resembles ourselves.” In that approach, the signature is not display. It is the discipline to make wine that reflects the standards of the people making it.

Fabiana's signature wines include Ombu Reserve Tannat 2020 and Ombu Reserve Petit Verdot 2018. Read together, they place her work in named vintages and in the ongoing identity of Bracco Bosca Winery.
