The Path
Training at the University of Chile gave Felipe Tosso a formal base before he entered the wider trade. In 1995, he moved to Viña Concha y Toro in the Cachapoal Valley, then continued building his practice across the United States, Australia, Argentina, France, Spain, Italy, and through harvests at major Bordeaux wineries before arriving at Ventisquero Wine Estates in 2000. That sequence maps a career shaped by mobility, but aimed at one thing: an avant garde style centered on sustainable, terroir-driven wines with a strong regional identity.
The Work Today
Since 2000, chief winemaker at Ventisquero Wine Estates has meant leading the winemaking department and co-producing acclaimed wines.
