Gaëtan Lagneaux

Gaëtan Lagneaux was a Belgian medical doctor and wine enthusiast who acquired Château Petit Bocq in Saint-Estèphe in August 1993 and drove its expansion and qualitative improvement. He became identified as the owner and founder of the estate as it exists today, and the property was later controlled by him and assisted by Pascal Berteau in viticulture and vinification. Some secondary sources also report that he died in 2012, after which the family continued the estate under the Lagneaux name.
