Gearóid Cahill

Dr. Gearóid Cahill is an Irish distilling professional from County Westmeath who joined Slane Distillery in 2019 as Distillery Manager and was appointed Slane’s first Master Distiller in January 2022. He is leading the production team for malt, pot still, and grain whiskeys, and his work has included technical development and production optimization across the distillery’s whiskey styles. He is also described as one of the few people in the drinks industry to hold both Master Brewer and Master Distiller credentials.
