Giovanni Malécot

Giovanni Malécot is a French pastry chef and co-founder of Maison Malécot in Saint-Malo, Brittany. He trained from age 15 and worked in Rennes, Lyon, Plancoët, Paris at Le Bristol, Saint-Malo at St Placide, New York at Per Se, and Brussels before opening Maison Malécot in 2020 with his partner Clémence. He has been profiled for his bread, pastries, and kouign-amann, and Maison Malécot was recognized by La Liste’s Pastry Discovery Gem Award in 2025.
