i. Biography
José Guillermo Romo de la Peña is a Mexican business executive in the tequila and finance sectors. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Tequila Herradura from 1975 to 1999 and Chairman of its board from 1999 to February 2004, and later became associated with Grupo Mega as a board member while the Romo de la Peña family remained identified as former owners of Tequila Herradura.
