Cellar work in Australia in 1987 led into consulting and production roles across Argentina and Italy. Hans Vinding-Diers moved from Tyrrell's vineyards in New South Wales, Australia, to consulting winemaker at Humberto Canale Winery in Rio Negro, Patagonia, Argentina, from 1998, then worked as winemaker at Argiano in Tuscany, Italy, and as winemaker at Bodega Chacra in Argentina. He is today co-owner and winemaker of Bodega Noemía de Patagonia and winemaker of Bodega Del Rio Elorza (Verum).

Where They Are Now

Argentina is the field of work here, and Vinding-Diers frames it in terms of breadth and restraint: from the south to the north, the country offers a wide spread of terroirs. The current brief is regional rather than self-contained, with the aim stated plainly by Hans Vinding-Diers: to be loyal and to help Río Negro as a whole.

The signature wines attached to Hans's work at Verum are Verum Chardonnay, Verum Pinot Noir, Verum Malbec, Verum Malbec Reserva, and Verum Cabernet Franc Reserva.
