    i. Biography

    Heidi Peterson Barrett is a Napa Valley winemaker best known for founding La Sirena and for her work on Screaming Eagle, where she began making wine in 1992. La Sirena’s official biography says she has created some of Napa Valley’s most famous wines since the 1980s, and that her 1992 Screaming Eagle helped propel her to international fame after a 6-liter bottle set a world record at the 2000 Napa Valley Wine Auction. She has also been publicly associated with Dalla Valle, Grace Family, Paradigm, Jones Family, Showket, Barbour, Revana, Kenzo Estate, Fantesca, and Lamborn as a consulting winemaker.
