Icíar Pérez Cejas is a chef from El Hierro, Canary Islands, who led the kitchen at Poemas by Hermanos Padrón in the Santa Catalina a Royal Hideaway Hotel in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and later opened Moral in Santa Cruz de Tenerife with her partner Juan Carlos Pérez. She was described coverage as the first woman from El Hierro to earn a Michelin star and as the recipient of Diario de Avisos’ best chef recognition for her work at Poemas.
