i. Biography
Isabella Wemyss is the production director for Wemyss Family Spirits and Kingsbarns single malt, where she selects casks for maturation and blends the whisky when it is ready. She is the company’s lead blender/master blender, responsible for shaping the house style of expressions such as The Hive, Spice King, and Peat Chimney. Wemyss Malts was founded in 2005 by William and Isabella Wemyss, and Kingsbarns Distillery describes her blending approach as precise and methodical, focused on consistency and clarity of flavour.
