James Yeun Leong Parry is the chef/owner of The Happy Crane in San Francisco, a modern Cantonese restaurant that opened in Hayes Valley in August 2025. He previously served as chef de cuisine at Palette Tea House in San Francisco and is described in coverage of The Happy Crane as having worked in Michelin-starred kitchens in Hong Kong, Japan, and the United States.
