Jari Vesivalo is a Finnish chef identified with Helsinki’s Ravintola Jason and the Michelin-awarded restaurant Olo. Official and trade sources describe Jason as his first fully independent restaurant, opened on Yrjönkatu in Helsinki in October 2024, while earlier coverage says he served at Olo as kitchen director and creative director before leaving in 2020. He was also described in 2016 as having overseen Olo’s kitchen operations for more than seven years.
