i. Biography
Jean-Baptiste Lafond is a member of the Lafond family at Domaine Lafond Roc-Epine in Tavel, in the southern Rhône Valley, where the family’s wines are produced across Tavel, Lirac, Côtes du Rhône, and Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The estate’s official history says he began working there in 2015 after completing a BTS in viticulture and oenology in Beaune, and the domaine later described him and his brother François as having taken over the reins.
