Jean-Daniel Rogivue

Jean-Daniel Rogivue is one of the twin sons of Daniel Rogivue and has long been a vigneron-encaveur at Les Fils Rogivue in Chexbres, in the Lavaux AOC of Vaud. The estate’s official history says Jean-Daniel and his brother Jean-Paul studied at the agricultural and viticultural school in Marcellin and then at the Haute école de viticulture et œnologie in Changins before taking over management of the domaine in the 1980s alongside their father. The domaine presents the brothers, together with François Rogivue, as its three vignerons-encaveurs and notes that Jean-Daniel and Jean-Paul divide vineyard and cellar work while making the major decisions together.
