Jean-François Becker

Jean-François Becker is a winemaker at Domaine Jean Becker in Zellenberg, Alsace, where the family estate traces its roots to 1610 and is now run by Jean-Philippe and Jean-François Becker with their sister Martine. Jean-François is responsible for the vineyards/viticulture, while Jean-Philippe handles oenology and cellar work and Martine handles sales and promotion. The estate shifted to more sustainable farming around 1980, converted fully to organic agriculture in 1999, and has been certified organic since 2001.
