Jean-François Garon

Jean-François Garon is a Côte-Rôtie winemaker associated with Domaine Garon in Ampuis, in France’s Northern Rhône Valley. In the 1980s, he and his wife Carmen revived the family’s abandoned hillside vineyards, later bottling their first wine in 1995 and beginning commercial production under the Domaine Garon name in 2003 when their sons joined the estate. The family now farms more than 16 hectares and produces wines from Côte-Rôtie and other Northern Rhône appellations.
