The old mechanical pump was replaced with a gentler elevator system for filling fermenting tanks with grapes, a change that affects force, handling and the condition of fruit at a vulnerable stage. Malolactic fermentation is also no longer delayed there; in 2022, it was completed in the fall, placing timing alongside handling as a visible part of the method. In 2025, Jean Lupatelli added commercial responsibility, broadening his role without changing the craft at its center. His first three vintages presented in 2025 gave a public view of the work under his responsibility and marked a point where vineyard material, cellar choices and the transition into his tenure could be read through the wine.
