i. Biography
Jean-Michel Arnaud is the winemaker behind Château Faîteau in La Livinière, in the Haut Minervois of Languedoc. He took over the family estate in 2000, rehabilitated an old cellar acquired by his parents, and later led the domaine out of the cooperative to produce its own cuvées, including Minervois, Minervois-La Livinière, and IGP Oc wines. The estate traces family vine-growing back to 1920 and has been certified organic.
