Jean-Michel Guillon

Jean-Michel Guillon is the founder of Domaine Jean-Michel Guillon & Fils in Gevrey-Chambertin, Burgundy, where he began building the estate from scratch in 1980 after retiring from a career in aeronautics. The domaine grew from its original small holdings to about 14-15 hectares across more than 20 appellations, including Gevrey-Chambertin, Morey-Saint-Denis, and Clos de Vougeot, and his son Alexis later joined the business. He was named Winemaker of the Year 2020 by Guide Hachette des Vins.
