Jean-François Bruel

Jean-François Bruel is a French chef who served as Executive Chef at Restaurant Daniel in New York City, where he helped maintain the restaurant’s two Michelin stars. He had more than two decades of fine-dining experience, including training in France under Georges Blanc, Paul Haeberlin, and Michel Guérard, before moving to New York and working at Café Boulud, db Bistro Moderne, and Daniel. He is also described as having won a James Beard Award and as the executive chef of Daniel since 2003.
