Jean-François Nicq

Jean-François Nicq is a French winemaker and the founder of Domaine Les Foulards Rouges in Montesquieu-des-Albères, Roussillon. He vinified at the cave des vignerons d’Estezargues from 1989 to 2001 before establishing his own estate on 1 January 2002, later expanding the domaine to about 15 hectares and roughly 30,000 bottles annually. He is associated with organic, low-intervention wines made from Mediterranean and local varieties such as Grenache, Carignan, and Syrah.
