Jeff Zalaznick is a New York-born restaurateur and entrepreneur who co-founded Major Food Group with Mario Carbone and Rich Torrisi after meeting them at Torrisi Italian Specialties in 2010. Major Food Group says the company was founded in 2011 and credits Zalaznick as a co-founder; Carbone’s official site also identifies him as a co-founder behind Carbone. He is a Cornell University graduate and is associated with the growth of Major Food Group into a global hospitality company.
