JeongIn Hwang

Jeong-In Hwang is the executive chef and partner at San Ho Won, the Korean charcoal BBQ restaurant in San Francisco’s Mission District that opened in fall 2021 as a collaboration with Corey Lee. He moved from Korea to San Francisco in 2016 to work with Lee at Benu, and later helped lead San Ho Won to its Michelin recognition. Prior to San Francisco, he worked for the Pierre Gagnaire group across Seoul, Paris, Hong Kong, and London, with earlier stages or internships at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay and Heston Blumenthal’s The Fat Duck in the UK.
