i. Biography
Jeremy Salamon is a Brooklyn chef and restaurant owner best known as the chef and owner of Agi’s Counter in Crown Heights, which opened in 2021 and was later recognized by Michelin with a Bib Gourmand. He is also the chef and owner of Pitt’s in Red Hook, and his cooking draws on Hungarian, Jewish, and broader Central European influences shaped by his family background. He was named a James Beard Foundation nominee and released his cookbook, Second Generation: Hungarian and Jewish Classics Reimagined for the Modern Table.
