Jill Klein Matthiasson

Jill Klein Matthiasson is the co-founder and business-side operator of Matthiasson Wines in Napa Valley, where she and Steve Matthiasson started the winery in 2003 based on principles of purity, sense of place, and sustainable agriculture. She previously worked in sustainable agriculture and local food systems, including pioneering “farmer to farmer” networking for sustainability in the early 1990s and training farmers on direct-sales models such as CSAs and farmers markets.
