Joachim Koerper

Joachim Koerper is a German chef born in Saarbrücken in 1952 who moved to Portugal in 2004 to join Eleven, where he earned Lisbon’s first Michelin star after one year. He has also served as consultant chef at Herdade da Malhadinha Nova since 2007, where the restaurant’s menu bears his signature and emphasizes Alentejo produce and contemporary techniques. The Malhadinha Nova team describes him as Executive Chef, and official materials state that his career spans Germany, France, Spain, Brazil, and Portugal.
