João Paulo Frankenfeld is the chef behind Casa 201 in Jardim Botânico, Rio de Janeiro, where he leads a French-based tasting-menu restaurant that opened in 2023. He is a former basketball player who studied with Paul Bocuse and later became head chef at Le Cordon Bleu in Rio before taking over Casa 201.
