John Burton-Race

John Burton-Race is a British chef, restaurateur, author, and television personality born in Singapore. He worked under Raymond Blanc at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, then opened L’Ortolan in Berkshire in 1986 and later the John Burton-Race Restaurant at The Landmark Hotel in London; both achieved two Michelin stars. He later ran The New Angel in Dartmouth, which earned a Michelin star, and in more recent coverage he has been described as a consultant chef.
